The Spiritual Exercises and the Formation of Christian Conscience
Thank you to Rev Dr Ai Pham SJ on a great public seminar (#3 in the three-part series on Moral Theology), held on 16th November. He exploredconscience as the basic human faculty for living a Christian moral life. The concern is how to appropriately form a Christian conscience.
The emphasis in the Spiritual Exercises on the love for God and others in the journey of following Christ helps to form the Christian conscience to reach maturity.
Thank you to all those that attended the three seminars held this year.
This concludes the Moral Theology series for 2017. Jesuit College of Spirituality will be hosting a Lenten Public Seminar series in 2018. For further details on events held at JCS – www.jcs.edu.au/upcoming-events/
