Welcome to Jesuit College of Spirituality
Jesuit College of Spirituality is a work of the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus.
Jesuit College of Spirituality:
- specialises in the study of Ignatian spirituality and Christian pastoral formation for ministry;
- provides opportunities for on-going research;
- supervises praxis in diverse ministries;
- collaborates with centres of spiritual formation including the national Centres of Ignatian Spirituality.
Jesuit College of Spirituality is an interdisciplinary institute that commenced in 1999 (then named, Christian Spirituality Centre).
Jesuit College of Spirituality aims at establishing a community of scholars, students and other people interested in the broad area of spirituality from an ecumenical perspective. It is dedicated to promoting interest in Christian spirituality, pastoral formation and their allied disciplines, and to providing the opportunity to develop among its community of communities (ecclesial and academic) the means to further their research and continuing study interests through formal and informal opportunities.

A.It is a requirement that all students attend an admissions interview with an academic advisor at a College. The purpose of the interview is to help you choose the right course, to ensure you meet the admission requirements, and to plan a program of study appropriate to your course and your needs.
A.Eligible students may access the Australian Federal Government FEE-HELP loan scheme to pay their fees. Please contact the JCS Registrar for more information regarding how to access FEE-HELP.
If you are applying for a research opportunity, you may also need to submit a research proposal. Find out more by contacting our office directly.
CAN I VISIT THE COLLEGE?
Prospective students are always welcome to visit the College campus. We recommend that you contact our office to arrange an appointment so we can ensure a member of staff is available to greet you and answer questions you may have including advice about courses, units, faculty, fees and scholarships. Our main campus is located on Royal Parade in Parkville.

Interested students should first seek an appointment with the Jesuit College of Spirituality Dean to discuss what is the best program of studies to suit their needs. Students who are ready to enrol may either fill out an application in person at the initial interview, or contact the JCS office before the initial interview and a form will be provided. The completed form with the relevant documentation is to be submitted to the JCS office.
